In the music video for "My Son," we embarked on a journey of fatherly love and aspiration, weaving together the timeless elegance of piano theatre with the raw emotion of rap visuals. As both director and visionary, I aimed to create a cinematic video that transcended the boundaries of traditional music videos, delivering a heartfelt tribute to the bond between father and son.

Drawing inspiration from the world of theatre, I infused the video with elements of dramatic storytelling, transforming each scene into a stage where emotions could be felt. From the spotlight of backstage to the performance scenes, every frame was shot to capture the essence of the father's journey – his hopes, his fears, and his unyielding love for his son.

One of the most striking visual motifs of the video was the use of VHS aesthetics to evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing. Through the flickering of old home movies and the distortion of retro graphics, I sought to transport viewers back in time, inviting them to relive the memories that shaped the father's journey and inspired his dreams for his son's future.
